Hi Bob,

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
Is the Enhanced Firewall disabled every time the PC boots up?
Check if the AVG is up to date updated.
AVG >> Menu >> Settings >> General >> Update

Every time I boot up I am required to open the Enhanced Firewall.  I thought it would open automatically.  I have gotten into the habit of checking every time to see if it is on and it is not.
