Enhanced firewall

Hello,
Since I have ( on Saturday 19/09/2020) reset my AVG te the default settings, I receive no longer the messages about my AVG or the enhanced firewall that are enabled.
So that problem is solved.
On this occasion I have also this other question.
Since this reset to default settings of AVG Antivirus, I also have no longer problems  with

  • Not opening https internet pages
  • Slow working of the internet access
  • Slow working om my pc in general  ( shortcuts on my desktop page,…)
So could if be that all these things have been caused by a problem with my AVG Antivirus ? or is this impossible and is it pure accidentilly that al those  problems are gone now?

Please follow the below steps to fix the issue:

1. Open your AVG Internet Security and click on "Menu" on the top right corner of the program.
2. Click on "Settings".
3. Click on "Troubleshooting".
4. Scroll down to the "Reset All Settings" section and click on the "Reset To Default" option.

Once the above actions have been performed, please restart your computer once and check if the issue persists.

Hi,
the problem with the message that the enhanced firewall is disabled, keeps going on.
I found on internet an article that bij going in my AVG to 'Hackerattacks' and after that to 'Enhanced Firewall', there I should see a green switch button that can be turned of or on.
However, on that location I don' see such a switch button. Hw come ?

We will clarify this for you, Drik
The issues which you have listed could have caused due to different reason.
For example, if you have more than 1 security application in your PC, you could face these issues.
And also you may experience these issues while using an VPN.
So, we can not exact tell these we caused by AVG or not.
