Epsom v600 scanner upset by AVG change?

I allowed AVG to make a change while using  the Epsom v600, and now scans will not save to file - something to do with a plug -in. I have tried to find out what change AVG made, but am unable to find a log of changes. Help!

John,
I understand this must be upsetting. I will help you to fix it.
I suggest you to change the firewall network profile from "Public" to "Private" and check if that fixes the issue. To change this settings, please open the AVG Internet Security and click on Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Network profile.

Also, please Enable all the System Rules under Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Policies.

Thanks very much - I seem to remember the word Ransomware. Away for rest of day will try later and report back. Thanks vm for your help.

John,
I understand the situation.
However, I'm not sure which AVG Option you clicked.
I suggest you to disable AVG and check once. To disable AVG, select the AVG icon on your System Tray right beside your clock. Right-click on the AVG Icon and then click on ON to turn it "OFF".

Also, please provide me a screenshot of the error message. Here is a link with the steps to create a screenshot: http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot . You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Sure, you can contact later and we will assist you further.

Sorry that's not worked - all settings set to Private, but the same result. J peg plug in box with "unable to write to file" It was wrking Ok until I clicked on something from AVG - where's the log so that I can unclick it? Or is it best to remove the programme and re install it? It really is a nuisance as I need to send a diagram  ready for some work tomorrow. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer
