We are sorry to know that you get this error during installation. To fix this issue, we suggest you to run the http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SRPolicy.exe and then remove all the old traces of AVG http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV. And then initiate the installation of AVG Ultimate and see if that fix the issue.
