  1. Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
    NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
    4) Second step is to use AVG BFE Fix tool. To download AVG BFE Fix Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_BFEfix.exe .
    5) Run the downloaded file, click Accept to confirm the license agreement, and then click Continue. Your computer will be automatically restarted.

I have tried all lthese solutions with no suuccess.  I have even tried putting in a 30 day free trial.
This is for a new notebook purchased yesterday
I have removed Macefee and am now about the throw it out the window:):slight_smile:  Seriously this is a brand new piece of technology, I have a paid subscription and was trying free at first while I sort out the account. 
I am picking up emails on my laptop for nnow but really want to sort this out for holidays etc

I keep getting the following error code, Error 0x0070643, when installing the product code. Please can anyone hlep me with this. Thanks

Hello Jayne. Sorry to hear that. May I know which AVG Program you are trying to install? Is it a paid, free or trial version?
