Error 0xC0070643

AVG is not recognizing my licence no which is valid until 2017 and has completly shut down 'no active components', I have tried updating, uninstalling but keep getting error OxC0070643 no matter what I do. This has occurred since this morning 23/2 upon starting my computer. No new products have been installed or uninstalled.
Please help

What can I do to fix this problem as my computer is left unprotected
