Hello .
Before I posted, I had searched the thread and had already read this recommendation and downloaded the Uninstaller. After I had uninstalled and rebooted the reboot I tried again to install the software and still got the error messages. I had read questions posed on thishother forums about the same issueand tried to do as they say but I am still getting the problem.
I have just bought a new windows 10 computer and am trying to install my paid for AVG internet Securitysoftware The installation fails and I get the above error message.
I have tried on numerous ocasions and occasionally get a windows error message that the component MSVCP100.dll is missing, I searched for a solution to this problem and via CMD as administrator ran the SFC/scannow which checked through and said everything was fine.
The missing component message only appears when I try to install AVG.
I am at a loss as to how to solve the problem and would appreciate a step by step guide on how to fix this problem and install the software
Please help
