Hello my Avg says error but doesn't show what my error is and what I need to do to correct everything was working fine until today. Please help

I'm not Katie, but I've had the same problem as her. I've performed a repair as per the instructions. It asked me to restart the compter again and it downloaded and installed itself again (~280 MB). What it hasn't done so far is ask me to reboot. I'll see what happens the next time the computer is rebooted before deciding if the issue is fixed or not.
