Hi All,
​I have a new ASUS Zenbook of which I uninstalled the Macfee third party antivirus  software. I then installed AVG Zen free version but it failed at 98% (multiple times) . I then started following tech support here. I have now uninstalled AVG with the remover download tool. I have established that I have Windows 10 with 32bit and I then tried to install using the 'offline' download as advised in another post. The installation has now failed but the error code has changed from 0xC0070643 to 0xE0010045.

​Any assistance would be welcomed.

Simon, Also did you download & run the McAfee total removal tool… (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe)?.
