I apologize for the inconvenience caused while installing AVG protection. Have you installed any other AVG program in your computer before? If so, please run AVG remover tool and uninstall all the existing AVG components before proceeds with the installation. Please run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install.
