Uninstalled AVG from my C drive to gain space. I then tried to install AVG Free on a different drive and received the above error code with the comment "EVENT EXEC_FINISHED" i AM RUNNING Windows 7 Pro and have always had good service from AVG Free.
I do not like to be without AVG protection and would appreciate any help you could give in completing the installation.

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool based on your operating system ( http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218 ) and uninstall your AVG program completely and remove its traces. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
