We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We appreciate all your efforts in trying to fix the issue. Have you used our AVG remover tool to uninstall AVG along with its traces?

Is there any other Antivirus program like McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky installed on your system? If so, please uninstall it and then we would request you to run the AVG remover tool to remove all the older traces of AVG. 

To complete the installation without any issues, run this Reset Access tool: http://files-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_ResetAccess.exe and refer this article to uninstall http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV your AVG program.

Kindly download your AVG remover and run it, then go to C: drive -> AVG Remover -> Bin -> pctremover.exe and avgfmwremover.exe (do not restart your device if prompted), then run avgremover.exe (it will automatically reboot your device).

My AVG will not download on my new laptop. It says
"An unknown issue has prevented Internet Security from installing."
I have attempted the same process several times. I even tried running the Reset Access tool.
Please help! 

Then please remove AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.

1. Type  “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2.  “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3.  %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4.  %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.

Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files and download your AVG program from our official site: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download.
