Hello Dallas, I would request you to follow the below instructions,
1)Go to the Control Panel.
2)Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
3)Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example:
4)To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click Local Area Connection > Properties.
5)To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click Wireless Network Connection > Properties.

I have viewed the link and followed steps up until adapter settings. I can't find the option on the screen its like me it's hidden. I'm running windows vista.
