I have uninstalled AVG after it would not update or repair itself.  Now after 2 days I cannot get it to reinstall.  I have ran the AVG remover and reset tools thinking there is something in the background but with no success.  I have been a long time user of AVG and would like to be again.  But unfortunately, I have been forced to find another prduct.  I receive the following:  Error code: 0xE001C02D  Thank you for any assistance.

What is the Error code: 0xE001C02D?  I have already done the steps you have each asked me to do multiple times BEFORE I installed the conflicitng program and I still received the Error code: 0xE001C02D.

John, Ensure that you've totally removed Avast. Download & run the Avast removal tool (https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility).
