I too am having this problem 0xe001f98d I have removed aall traced of AVG and deep scan to find any hidden files None found yet I still get this error code this should have been resolved before any upgrades were released … I have now no AVG cover and I purchased Ultimate … Helps

I can't intall AVG anti virus FREE i keep getting this error code:

The avg remover does not find any avg product on my computer. I have completly removed all avg files from the following folders: temp,%temp%,%appdata%,%programdata%.
Is there any way for me to get AVG back and running on my pc?

Hello Raul,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please run AVG clear tool and AVG remover tool to remove AVG traces from your PC:
1. Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2. Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3. Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4. Select the installed version of AVG and also check the box 'Uninstall AVG Zen'. Then click Uninstall, and Restart computer.

To reinstall AVG Ultimate, please use this article http://avgread.me/19OHofR .
