We regret the inconvenience you had with accessing VPN after updating it.
Generally, you will get this error code when there is an intermittent issue in the network. In that case reconnecting/changing the VPN location may solve this issue.
Please try to connect to different server location and check.
If the issue exists, we suggest you to try changing the VPN Protocol to Mimic.
1. Open AVG Secure VPN.
2. Click on Menu>>Settings>>VPN Protocol
3. Select either Open VPN or Mimic protocol and try to connect again.

My AVG VPN won't connect after updating it. After troubleshooting, I see Error code: MRY0X8.
