Thanks, but as I said in my original post, I ran the remover tool and tried to instal AVG TuneUp Unlimited before I posted my question. I have repeated these steps again, with the same result, and the same error message.

I have recently renewed AVG PC Tuneup but whenever I tried to open it I received a message asking if I wanted to renew it. I tried uninstalling the previous version and then logged in to my AVG account and downloaded it again. When I tried to install it I received a message saying "we've run into a problem during installation" with error code Oxe001f949.
