Error Code stops me uninstalling AVG Free

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, Please run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe . This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.
Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No"
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

AVG AntiVirus Free with AVG Protection on my laptop appears to have a 'glitch'. When I try to uninstall AVG Protection an Error Code: 0xe001f90f is indicated which bars me from complete uninstall of AVG Free. Please advise. Thank you
