Hello i've the same problem like a lot of people. At the installation process i get the fault 0xc0070643 Event exec_finished. Because i've paid for this AVG protection i'll hope that there is a solution. If you send me an email i can reply and send you the log file.
For your information, i have used the program for deleting an installation of AVG, I've used CC cleaner to try to fix this problem, i ve tried to instal the free version (same error) and a lot more.
