Hi,
We are développing a CRM/ERP application and our users, who have AVG Antivirus installed on their computers, returned to us a message from AVG saying their antivirus eliminated a threat on our application, and the element eliminated is from JS:Prontexi_DO [Trj].
We tried to replicate this pop up by installing AVG Antivirus on multiple machines and the message comes up only on Windows.
We would like to know more about why this message pop up, why is this chunk considered as malicious and if we can fix this on our application or if there is a solution.

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for answering us,

We can't confirm at 100% which version of AVG they are using, but we tested it on one of our computer with the free version of AVG and the message prompts.

To get the screenshot, we used a Windows OS, but on Mac OS and Ubuntu nothing happened.

Thank you again and have a great day.

Report from AVG when accessing our website
Hi again, thank you for answering us.
We don't actually know 100% if they are using the free version or the paid one but we tested on our testing computer and we used the free version to get the report prompt.
We tested on a Windows OS and the message poped up, but on Mac OS and Ubuntu Linux we got no report of a virus from AVG.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Colin.

If you suspect that this is a false detection made by AVG, we recommend that you submit the detected URL/element for false-positive analysis using this link.
Once you've submitted the false positive report, our concerned team will analyze the URL & if found harmless, they'll whitelist it right away.
Thank you for understanding in advance!
