Yes, it is PC Tune Up.  The operating system is Windows XP.  I don't think I had the problem with PC TuneUp 2014.

Having exactly the same problem with PC Tune Up, but OS is Windows Vista. I have explicitly added both AVG PC Tune Up and AVG Update Wizard as exceptions to my firewall but still the error persists.

In order to analyze it please provide us with http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe output (run it after inducing described behavior) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.

This error continues to come up whenever I check for updates even after repeated reinstallations of PC Tools 2015.  Otherwise, the program seems to work fine.  How do I fix this?
