Error message 0xe001d029 when trying to install free version of AVG Zen

Evening all,

I'm trying to re-install the free version after having previously removed it to free up space on my hard drive.

Between removing it and attempting to re-install it I've been informed by my bank that my computer has been infected by a piece of Malware and they've frozen my online banking until I can get my computer clean.

Do any of you have any ideas as to the best course of action?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Matt

Hello Matt,
I understand how something like this can really try your patience.
Please be informed that AVG Zen is a paid product, but you can use it for trial version. It has both AVG Protection and AVG Performance built in it. AVG Protection is nothing but AVG Internet Security and AVG Performance is AVG PC TuneUp. If you have already tried out the trial version in your pc it cannot be reinstalled in your pc. To install AVG Antivirus Free 2016 you can use offline installation, determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
For 32 bit : http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_x86_694.exe
For 64 bit : http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_x64_693.exe
