We are sorry to know that. We suggest you to follow the below steps to uninstall the latest version of AVG from your computer.
Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing AVG 2017 and its traces.

Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

I am trying to download Office 365 but AVG is raising virus threats and blocking download.  I went to uninstall AVG to find I must have already done at some stage but still showing in programs, when i click to uninstall i get the error message 0xE001D02B saying AVG product not installed, so unistall requests ignored.
I have googled and tried AVG remover (also in safe mode) and it's not shifting.  Any advise please ??  AVG won't help as it was a free trial version.

We are sorry to know that. We do not have an option to disable AVG. If you still have any issue, we have emailed you the steps to collect error logs from your computer.

After restart, run AVG Remover and remove all AVG products.

Open AVG_Remover.exe (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe)
User Account control - click "Yes"
Click "CONTINUE"
Select all products, and click "Remove"
Click "Restart" and restart PC
After restart Click "Run" (Open file – Security Warning dialog) and let AVG Remover remove traces
Restart PC again
