We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please check whether you have installed any other conflicting applications like McAfee, Avast, Norton etc… on your PC, If so please uninstall the conflicting applications.
If not, please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool to remove all the traces of the AVG.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
I recently did a factory reset to my computer, and even before I noticed a prompt for my AVG that it is unable to recognize my license number. Let me tell you that I know nothing of a license number since I use this laptop mainly to do school work and browse the internet. It says that I should re enter the number of it the problem still persists,reinstall avg. Since I do not have the license, I decided to uninstall, That doesn't work either. I believe that this is affecting how my windows store app works too.

This is the error message I receive. I would really like to settle this problem and have the free AVG installed

- Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.
5. Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen.
7. Complete the installation and restart your computer.
