Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
After the remover tool process is successfully finished, I request you to restart your pc.
After the restart, I request you to manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of Mycomputer.
Please reinstall your product after that and you will be good to go.

I tried to install the Free version with the link above but I couldn´t either. The error code is: 0xe001f946.
I´m trying to uninstall the 30 days trial of AVG Zen and install the Free version. Could you help me?

When I open the downloaded .exe file and run it, it will download the installation components and then I get a pop-up Error: Missing setup content file 0XE001F949.  I can't find information about this particular error anywhere!  I've tried the free download and the 30-day trial.
I bought this Toshiba today, uninstalled Norton (like I do on all of my new systems), and want to run AVG (like I do on all of my systems).  Help, please!

just to be clear, avg was running fine before i noticed that the icon ws no longer appearing in the task tray

hi
i was following these steps as i have the same problem but the installer won't run, instead giving me the same error message. i did have a virus previously and avg was working. it removed 'genius' files that it said were an infection, but i noticed avg doesn't start up any more and i keep getting this error message when i try to de/reinstall. any further ideas? thanks
