I've only just downloaded and paid for the Pro version. It takes forever to scan, and when I've tried to run PC Tuneup it keeps coming up with the above error message. I've read a lot of the other posts about this problem, and the 'fixes' are beyond my ability. I used Microsoft Security Essentials for years, in combination with Spybot and Malwarebytes, with absolutely no problems. It's only because MSE is no longer supported on my Windows version that I changed over to AVG, but it seems from other people's posts that this is very problematic software. I'm no computer nerd, and when I download software I've paid for, I expect it to work, rather than having to pay a technician to fix it. If someone can come up with an EASY solution to the error code above I'll give it a try, but if not, then I won't be subscribing any more.
