Error reinstalling AVG

Hello Raymond,

I understand the inconvenience.
I understand that you have run AVG removal but please try once to run AVG removal tool followed by AVG clear tool as mentioned (here) to remove traces of AVG.
NOTE: If there are no AVG program found, click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.
If you are using AVG Antivirus free, install it as mentioned (here).
Keep us informed about the status.

Earlier today my AVG software stopped working on my computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest free version, however after it was installed, it wouldn’t open. Instead showing the error message: Unexpected Error - 0xa0018fa6. I googled what this meant and have already used the AVG removal program to scan the computer. I tried installing AVG after that. This time it opened to the AVG screen and showed a green bar installing AVG on the computer, however every time it reached 100%, it gives me: Error Code - 0xE0010045: The data is invalid. 

Is there any fix for this problem?
