My messages  says my update manager isnt active i am confused as i have use d AVG free for a long time  and have had no issues  till now…could  you explain  to me how to fix  this  error  as clicking on the  button  fix  now  has not  resolved the issue,  also i  tried  to uninstall and  reinstall  AVG free and it  wont  remove  from my programs, which  seems  bizarre to me, thanks

I have the exaCT SAME ISSUE AND i AM UNABLE TO GET THE PICTURE YOU ASK FOR TRANFERRED HERE.  pRINT SCREEN DOESN'T WORK.  cntrl-c DOESN'T WORK.  nOTHING WORKS - INCLUDING THE FREAKING avg PROGRAM WHICH WILL NOT UNINSTALL OR BE DELETED IN ANY WAY.    So, what needs to happen is AVG needs to be completely removed from my computer and never, ever, ever , ever downloaded again.
