Error Trying to Login to GoDaddy

Hello Rebekah.
We'd be glad to look into this.
It is possible to exclude a website from AVG AntiTrack. But before proceeding with it, were you able to login to GoDaddy website without issue after disabling the AdBlock extension in Google Chrome?

Let me expand on the AVG problem and solution.

I have two Windows 7 PC's and am a longtime AVG user. The desktop has the current "paid for" version of AVG utilities on it and the laptop does not. Both run up-to-date Firefox and Chrome browsers.

That maddening "Your browser is a bit unusual" message from GoDaddy was persistent and unbeatable on my desktop and kept me out of GoDaddy's webmail and out of Outlook (Microsoft 365).
However, the laptop had NO problems with GoDaddy's loading of GoDaddy webmail or Outlook from Office 365.

So, I used the Windows Task Manager to first suspend all of AVG's activities on the desktop. Well, suspending them did not take them out of memory and GoDaddy/Outlook also didn't load.

I then used the Windows UnInstall command to remove the AVG components:

1) AVG Internet Security uninstalled: No improvement, still stopped on "Your browser is a bit…".
2) AVG TuneUp uninstalled: No improvement.
3) AVG Secure VPN: Have never used the VPN but I uninstalled it anyway.
4) AVG AntiTracker: uninstalled: Guess what? Voila, GoDaddy webmail loaded and went right to Outlook 365. No problem. Jeesh.

To double-check the reliability of the uninstallations, I re-installed AVG Internet Security, AVG TuneUp, and the AVG VPN, although I'm still not using the VPN. And, of course, I did NOT install the AVG Antitracker. Result: GoDaddy webmail loaded and went right to Outlook 365.

So there you have it. I really hope this helps everyone.

BTW, GoDaddy's tech support staff tried to be helpful with the usual bromides like "Re-install your browser" but they were not dialed in at all. I would have expected their internal database is full of the "Your browser is a bit unusual…" complaints like what we've described but GD hasn't seemed to care enough to really diagnose the situation. Maybe they just wait until the user(s) figure it out…

Also, AVG's response didn't yield a response published here in this thread. No action on their part?
Oh well, it won't matter now if this fix works on your computer.

Cheers,
RC

When I attempt to login to my GoDaddy account, I am receiving a pop-up:
"You have an unusual browser. Try disabling pop-ups, etc…" I am wondering if Anti-Track is doing this? I was able to get in going to Chrome and disabling ad block; however, I would not say Chrome is an "unusual" browser. Any help greatly appreciated.

NOTE: Wondering if Anti-Track has a "list" where I can say, "ALLOW GoDaddy"  ???
