Errors after Update

Once again, an AVG update has caused issues.  I could previously click on links within, for example, Facebook.  Such as an article from my local news station or newspaper, etc.  Instead of going to and opening the page as it use to, I now always get an error page that states:  "This site can't be reached.  www.*******.com took too long to respond.  Try checking the proxy and the firewall."  I don't know what to check for.  Something during the update changed something, and I don't know what to change back so that things work again.  I get so frustrated.

Let's confirm whether the issue is due to AVG Internet Security program that you have purchased.
Disable AVG Internet Security temporarily as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode to check whether it resolves the issue.
