Errors with Installing and Uninstalling

Hello Vee,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please check whether you have installed any other conflicting applications like McAfee, Avast etc… on your PC, If so please uninstall the conflicting applications.
If not, please run the  AVG 2016 remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program. If you have already tried with the 2016 remover tool please let us know so that we could provide you with alternative resolution to fix the issue.

I got this message after I tried to install

Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished

This is the 3rd time I have tried to install.  I have already contacted support and they had me try the uninstaller, but that obviously did not work because I am still getting this message.  How can I fix this?

Yes, this is the same answer I received last time and I have done all of this already.  I just mentioned that in my original question.  I do not have any other applications.

Vee, If you are getting this 0xC0070643 Description: Event exec finished error message while installing AVG then it has to be dealt with only by AVG additional support. AVG will send you an email with further instructions to be followed to get their additional support. Please check for the email on spam or junk folders if it is not present in the inbox.
