Hello David. Could you please let me know the AVG program you have installed on your PC and please let us know whether you are facing the issue with your Mac PC? Thank you.

Mine is Free 2015.0.6122 too.  I have no Mac - I run a home-built pc.

Thank you, David and Zbynek.  What a shame that the programmers do not seem to be able to test their "improvements" before unloosing them on their unsuspecting customers.  I know I have little right to complain, as someone using the free version, but having my email sabotaged twice in six months does not encourage me to pay for the full version.  If it happens again I'll have to try another program.

Hello David Steward. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. This issue has already been raised by many of our customers and we found the repair package as a fix now. We always have 24/7 support to help our customers with the issue in AVG. Thank you.

Since the new AVG download 2015.0.6122 on the 2nd of August, Eudora 7.1.0.9 has been locked out from the server.  I can still read emails with Firefox.  My IMAP ports are set to 993 and 143.  My SMTP ports are set to 465 and 25.  Can anyone tell me whaat I need to do to restore Eudora please?

AVG repair package worked for me:-

but I obviously had to reset all my clients to use AVG Email Scanner again!
