I used the link provided and it looked like it was removing all the leftovers from McAfee. I re ran the AVG install and am getting the same error message as before.

Like the other messages I'm seeing. I am getting the error 0xE0060006 Event Exec_finished when I attempt to install on a Windows 10 desktop PC. I've opened a case with AVG but it seems that their support site is down. Anybody else getting this and found a solution? I've uninstalled my old McAfee antivirus software, rebooted, turned Windows firewall off, and put the browser into compatability mode all to no avail.
