Have you received error code 0xC0070643 along with the event.exe as description?
May I know the name of the AVG program you wish to install?
Have you tried AVG remover tool to uninstall and reinstall?

I am trying to install and installation will not complete. I get a code with this message: event exec finished.  Can someone please help me with this. I want to get this downloaded.  Thanks.
