Event History not being updated

I reinstalled AVG, faithfully following all the instructions in your link(s) but find that the old event history log is still there – I provide a current screen shot of the most recent entries.Screenshot of current AVG Event History Log 
 
The list does not change when the Refresh List button is pressed.     And since AVG Help states that the log is managed by AVG automatically, you do not need to worry about keeping it up-to-date or having to clear it regularly I must assume that the log file is not being accessed or updated properly whenever I start, update or close the program. 
 
Is this log a file stored somewhere else on the computer (eg beneath the Program Data folder), capable of deletion by Windows7, and then be automatically recreated during a subsequent invocation of AVG?      Would that solve the problem or is the issue likely to be something more complex?

I have just discovered that my Event History has not been updated since 30 March (over a month ago).
Does this indicate anything is amiss and how can I correct the isuue, please?
