We request you to open AVG Internet Security > Hackers attack > Ransomware Protection > make sure that you enabled 'Smart Mode' and click 'Blocked/Allowed apps' to check if MS excel and word applications are under blocked list.
If you see these apps under 'Blocked' list, please do remove it and add it to Allowed apps list.
Check the status and inform here.
I can not get into any of my excel & word files and change things as it says "read only". So I got on saw AVG Security tells you its because of the Ransom Protection and what to do so I can get in and change things. But that didn't help wont let me save anything. Do I need to delete AVG and then reinstall it. My boss says to figure out how to change it back and maybe find a different security system as we don't have time for things like this. Please help as I need to get into my files. It wont let me open any save saying not there. HELP PLEASE
