"exception list" function does not function at all!

Hello Quick,

I certainly help you with this.

Once you restore the file from the quarantine folder, AVG will automatically add the file to exception list.

There is no need to add the file manually to exception list.

i am trying to run a exe that i KNOW is a false flag but...AVG simply refuses to let me do so.

so, i click "details" and under options it only has "report as false positive". no choice of creating an exception.

ok...so then i go to the file in question in the quarantine. tick the check box to the left that click the drop down arrow next to "delete" and the only options shown are... restore, restore as, delete, send for analysis. no choice for creating an exception.

ok..so THEN i close the quarantine after doing "restore as" and go to the... settings menu then the exceptions section.

i try setting the exe as an exception in the "CyberCapture" tab then click the "add" button.

try running the file again and...no dice, avg is STILL saying it is malware when i know it is NOT.

ok, so on top of that, i put the file in a new folder and create both a cybercapture exception for the file itself AND a file path exception for the new folder.

tried running the file AGAIN and it STILL picks it up as malware when IT IS NOT FREAKING MALWARE!

AVG's Exception function simply does not function, does not give you the option to create an exception the moment it detects a file, and requires you to jump through hoops just to get to the menu where you can create exception lists that DO NOT WORK!

wth, AVG? seriously...wth? the file i am trying to run IS. NOT. MALWARE!

heck, it even tries to prevent me from downloading this file. i had to bypass THAT too just to get this file!

Appreciate your understanding.
Our concern team can analyze the file and add it to our white list.

uh…no. after restoring the file then trying to run it:

it does not automatically create an exception. nor does it add it to any of the 3 exception lists.
