the program at "C:\Users\admin\Desktop\min\xmrig-6.12.1\xmrig.exe" is being identified as malware, i have added the file to the exception list, but i still cannot run it,
getting "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file

how can i fix it? i have tried rebooting after adding the file to exception list, that didn't work.
(ps, the program is incorrectly identified as malware because it's very commonly bundled with actual malware to perform cpu cryptocurrency mining on victim computers, but the program itself is not actual malware, it's a cryptocurrency mining program, open-source too, https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig/tree/master/src )
Hello Hans.

The file should not be getting blocked by AVG as you added an exception. To make sure, I would request you to disable AVG protection temporarily and run the file.

Appreciate your efforts & technical knowledge, Hans.
It isn't recommended to add a file to exception, unless you're aware of the legitimacy. Hence, we'd suggest you to report the file to our threat labs by visiting this link.
A group of analysts will review the file & whitelist it, if it is found to be safe or goes through clean notes of AVG.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!
