Exceptions & Quarantine

How to make exclusions from all scans and shields?
Well, the Exceptions feature just doesn't work!
I follow the instructions (| AVG) to the letter and still AVG 2017 sees the exceptions as a threat and removes them.

Also the Quarantine Feature doesn't work properly. The only thing it does is to remove the selected items. The options Recover, Scan and Send for analize doesn't do a thing.

Please make this work.

We have been seven months since the launch of AVG 2017 and it still does not work as it should!
For many years I have worked with AVG to my full satisfaction. But this one is a joke!

Hello Cj,
I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would like inform you that there is an issue with restoring items from Quarantine if they are moved there by Identity protection component of AVG. Such entry will have "IDP" to its prefix in quarantine folder. Our developers are diligently working on a fix for this issue. And regarding the exclusions, I suggest you to repair AVG once and check if the issue is resolved.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:

Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Internet Security in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

Hello Avinash.

Exclusions doesn't work after repair.
It still sees everything as a threat and are blocked or removed.
