Exclude "Time Capsule" from scanning processs

Have you added this folder to the exception list of deep scan? Please confirm whether you are trying to perform deep scan using Antivirus free version or used PC Tuneup features.

I have a problem making a deep scan, while a Time Capsule is connected. 

Even if “Scan Time Machine Backups” is deselected in Preferences, all backups (sparsebundles) are yet scanned. That would take weeks!! 

Moreover, I cannot find access to the “Scan Parameters screen”, as is shown on “support.avg.com/SupportArticleView”. I would like to exclude the Time Capsule there.

Are you using the latest 18.2 version of AVG Antivirus in Mac?

Yes, I do use version 18.2, since Februari 6. 
I do not perform deep scans so often, but I believe to remember that scan options were accessible in earlier versions.
