Exe files damaged

Hi - I realise that the disabling of exe files is a known problem - can you please advise on the date that it will be fixed AND whether the fix will work on the damaged files or will I need to reinstall everything? I am currently unable to use Photoshop (need it for work) and have been having sporadic issues with Dropbox. Thanks Carol
