Expired Certificate

I regret for the inconvenience caused. Have you tried to below mentioned steps to fix the issue?
If not, please go to AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > Export Certificate" and then apply exported certificate in the e-mail client. And again open AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > uncheck "Scan SSL connections" option. If the issue persists, please share the screenshot to assist you better.

When will you resolve the expired-certificate issue that prevents users from checking their e-mail using Thunderbird?

With the exported certificated added to Thunderbird, I am able to receive e-mail through the secure connection.
