Please download and run AVG Clear tool as suggested in this article to completely remove the traces of currently installed AVG and reinstall it.

Hello. My Free Trial period for Internet Security expired today. The conversion back to Free Antivirus requires a Restart of my computer to complete. Evidently, this is not happening correctly. I have restarted my computer as prompted at least 6 times so far, and am getting prompted to Restart again. I have not done so this time.
I am using Windows XP, and am unable to Uninstall or stop Internet Security to try and manually re-install the Free version of AVG Antivirus. It seems that AVG reverts to the Free Version, per the title and features shown, but in the taskbar, shows a red X and error, and I am prompted to Restart again and again.
Is there a link or program you can provide, or that I can download that will stop this? Thank you.
