I understand your concern.
Did you check for the renewal email of AVG Internet Security which will have the renewed license number which is to be used for activation?
If the email is not found in inbox do check in spam and junk folders.
If you are able to locate the email and get the renewed license number, open AVG Internet Security, click on "Menu–>My Subscriptions:
Click on "Enter license" and enter your renewed license number.
Keep us informed about the status.

My AVG Internet Security was paid in full on 23rd January 2018 but this week I keep getting told my Internet Security has expired.  I'm confused. Can anyone help me with this problem please?

I sincerely apologize for the difficulties caused to you. Please uninstall your AVG Internet Security as per the steps mentioned in this article . Then reinstall it by going to AVG downloads page here .

Clearly AVG does not know we cannot enter a license number. Our only option is renew.User-added image
