Thank you.

AVG has been trying to remove this virus for over an hour.  Line after line it goes from unresolved to secure, but the virus appears to be replicating itself.  That is my guess and AVG never seems to catch up.  I am concerned that something serious is happening and not sure what I should do about it.  Is this a real threat?  How should I deal with it?  I haven't seen anything like this before.  Please help.

I would like to upload a screenshot, but I don't see how.

BTW, AVG has quit doing this.  I am going to scan my PC right now.

Here is the result of my scan.  User-added image

I wish you could give an explanation of why this happened, but I'm hoping the problem is solved.  Nice to talk to you and thank you for your help.   God bless you.

Hello Paul,
We respect your efforts on trying the fix to resolve the issue. Please do check after restarting the PC and updating the AVG program and if the issue persists.
Thank you.
Paul,

It sounds like you are experiencing what I began experiencing last evening.  If it is the same, it is not an actual threat but, rather, a bug in the AVG software.  I was able to resolve it earlier today by having the AVG program look for and install an update that fixes the bug.
