Just got this Trojan repeatedly until I exited out. Ran a scan and nothing. Same thing happened yesterday on a different computer. Had a feeling this was caused by AVG and went looking and found this thread. Most are from 2 months ago. Why am I getting this stuff now? Anyone else getting this today or yesterday? 2/27/16.
Entered this question to thread here: Disqus - What is a Exploit SWF_c? - AVG Threat Labs
Looks like quite a few individuals are getting the same problems, and if you look further, it has been giving people this trouble now for almost a year. AVG apparently says "it's a "false positive", and will be taking care of it with the next update." If this has been going on for months, what is a person suppose to do to get rid of it, and what and WHEN is AVG going to take care of it??:??

Deborah,

It sounds like you are experiencing what I began experiencing last evening.  If it is the same, it is not an actual threat but, rather, a bug in the AVG software (that seems to have occurred once or twice in recent years).  I was able to resolve it earlier today by having the AVG program look for and install an update that fixes the bug.
