Extensions message when opening MS Edge with AVG logo

Every now and then I get a MS Edge tab opening with what seems to be a notification of some kind.
Not sure what is triggering this… and whether there is anything I can adjust or look into.

the Edge tab/window would reflect a message similar to this:
extension://lacbjnnibafcbpogdcpfdpmajfkdampi/common/messagebox.html?data=eyJ0eXBlIjoicG9zdFVwZGF0ZVBhZ2UiLCJicmFuZE5hbWUiOiJBVkcifQ==

Not knowing what P France is using, desktop or smartphone, I was not using the Edge browser early Sept. when a clear folder, with Edge on top, appeared on my screen at bottom left corner. I use msn as one email account so I considered it as a wayward "cache" file. AVG performs well in removing these extraneous hidden files. There were enough comments at Microsoft support that likely a fix is included within the recent Edge updates. Hope this helps. Bill 29/09/24
