The external display is not working I think it follows running the tune up routine when I disabled a number of programes to speed things up

When I switch to a benq external monitor GL2250 itworks fine but the other benq monitor GL2450 doesnt and it has happened the day after I fully installed the AVG ultimate programme which I had just received as a present so I reckon one of the programes prompted by AVG to disable has prompted the monitor failure
If I uninstall AVG completely will that remove all those program settings etc that was selected to be disabled - that way I would know for sure whether its hardware or AVG software. I can always reinstall AVG later and be more careful next time as to what I disable.
