I have a password manager with a VPN that is ALREADY PAID FOR. But AVG won't allow it to log in, and keeps telling me I have to buy their service. I want to use the one I already have and have paid for. I have looked in the settings and added my password manager to all the "allowed apps" list I can find, but it still is blocked. What am I missing? Thank you.

Are you unable to login to a VPN service?
If yes, please disable AVG and check if you're able to access.

Do you receive a error message from AVG when accessing it.
