F-Secure removal

Hi Akash, thanks for your very speedy response (sorry I've been away from my Mac for a fwe days)
I did what you suggested (Uninstalled AVG and downloaded AVG again) but the re-installation failed because it says F-Secure is installed (Aaargh!). Then I've struggled to get back here because AVG is uninstalled from my Mac (double aaargh!!) Here's a screenshot of the error message I got…
(AVG still not reinstalled onm y machine)message saying AVG can't install because F-Secure already is.

I have exactly the same issue as Tony Darby where AVG updates fail. However I knew that I'd installed F-Secure (on the instruction of my bank... Grrr!) so when I subscribed to AVG I deleted every single reference to F-Secure then recently out of the blue I started getting the same message as Tony. I've checked on my Mac Finder and I can't find a single reference to F-Secure but updates are always failing accompanied by the "Incompatible software detected" message. Is there a way forward without using Tony's solution please?
(Sorry if I am getting the procedures wrong - I've added this query at the end of a thread started by Tony Darby, then realise it's not been posted as a question.)

F-Secure "Incompatible software" message

Pandi - you and your team are absolute stars! The F-Secure removal tool appears to have worked and the AVG installation went very smoothly - Phew!
(Hope I don't have to trouble you again… I bet you hope that too!!)
